Dwelling Design was founded in 2008 to provide clients with exceptional design services. We believe in staying at the forefront of the latest trends; providing our clients with modern and truly creative ideas. From the initial strategy to the final outcome, we offer guidance and support throughout the whole design and development process.

Together, we’ve experienced the planning and implementation process of some of the most impressive design experiences for clients across several industries. Dean Guidolin
Principal
With my career spanning over 29 years in the residential design and home building industry within the Calgary area, I have worked on an extensive variety of projects inside Alberta and beyond.  I actively participate with BILD (Building Industry and Land Development), Calgary region, as a member of the Builder Technical Committee, including a task group dedicated to the implementation of the Energy Efficiency section of the Alberta Building Code. I also participate with BILD Alberta, as a member of the Provincial Residential Technical Committee, working with several colleagues from other regions of the province to assist with the many industry challenges.  I was also appointed to represent BILD Alberta, as a member of the national Technical Research Committee, taking industry issues to a national level, and assisting with future building code development. I currently hold a membership with ASET (The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta), with a designation of Professional Engineering Technologist. I also studied Passive home design and successfully completed the CHBA Net Zero Building Science program.
